Best for children entering Grades 1 and 2

All campers are invited to create, play and discover the world of theatre during the morning camp day. A fun and relaxed sharing at the end of the week will integrate activities tailored for this age group.
In the afternoon
participants will enjoy stories, visual art, outdoor time, drama games and MORE curated specifically for their stage of development and unique lines of inquiry

Is there an age limit for registration?
Our camps are designed for the specific ages outlined above. If you have questions about your child's participation in the program, please contact us before you register by telephone at 416-537-4191 or by email at email@example.com. If your child is the incorrect age for a program Theatre Direct reserves the right to cancel your registration. All cancellations are subject to a $50 administration fee (the PayPal processing fee is also non-refundable.) Children must be 4 years of age before the program start date, as require by Ontario Law.

A waiting list is maintained on our registration system for each session that is registered to capacity. As spaces become available we reach out to families on the waitlist, though we cannot guarantee a place in the program.
What's the refund policy?
Refunds are available as per the following guidelines, but refunds will not be processed through eventbrite and requests must be sumbitted to our office directly. Refund requests must be made in writing to the office 2 weeks prior to the start of each session. Requests are eligible for full refund; however, a $50 administration fee is applied to all cancellations. After this time, registration fees are non-refundable, except for medical reasons (a doctor’s note will be required). Should you not be able to cancel your registration in time you are eligable for a tax receipt for the amount paid or can receive a credit for future camp programing.

-Staff Camper ratio is 1:6, 1:4 for our 4-5 year old camp
-All Camp Counsellors are required to be currently pursuing post-secondary education in Theatre or other Fine Arts
-All guest and lead artists are working professionals in their field with extensive experience creating with young people of all ages
-Children will enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities
Theatre Direct does provide early care and after care at no additional charge. Drop your child off as early as 8:30 a.m. and pick up as late at 5 p.m. After 5 p.m. additional fees will apply for late pick up.
Access and Inclusion
Theatre Direct is committed to promoting and demonstrating inclusion and accessibility. Children identified as exceptional by an IPRC including: Behaviour, Communication, Intellectual, Physical and Multiple Exceptionalities are welcome to join Theatre Direct’s Summer Drama Camp.
